The Kaya Girl Legacy Genetic Testing Support Grant is designed to help families access lifesaving genetic testing when cost becomes a barrier. Our mission is simple, remove the financial obstacles we faced, and give another family a chance at early answers, timely diagnosis, and informed care.
🌿 How the Grant Works🌿
The Kaya Girl Legacy Genetic Testing Grant provides financial support for families who need genetic testing but face insurance denials, high out-of-pocket fees, or urgent timelines.
We prioritize requests where early diagnosis can directly impact:
✔ Treatment decisions
✔ Early detection of rare conditions
✔ Access to specialists
✔ Family planning and future care
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and families may apply at any time. Our first round of grant decisions will be shared on February 1st, 2026.

💛 Why This Grant Matters 💛
Kaya’s journey changed everything for us.
Even after previous genetic testing and two healthy children, no one could have predicted the diagnosis our baby girl received. Access to early, comprehensive genetic testing could help families receive answers sooner, advocate better, and prepare for the care their child needs.
Through this grant, we honor Kaya’s life by giving another child and or family the chance we didn’t have.
